tote bag

The other day I read this post/story [via boingboing], and it really stuck with me.

“I guess, I’ve always believed that nothing is withheld from us what we have conceived to do. Most people think the opposite – that all things are withheld from them which they have conceived to do and they end up doing nothing.”

These days, I’m not much of a quote collector. At one point in my life, I had several composition books where I’d jot down lines from songs, books, and so on; it’s something I have fallen away from.

I bought this plain tote bag at the craft store a few months ago — I use it to carry embroidery hoops, supplies and small works-in-progress around. It needed a little something and “Do things that have never been done before.” seemed just the right thing.
