No embroidery for me for a few months. As usual (yes, I have thrown my shoulder out at least 10 times since 2003, and had one surgery and several ER trips), it was a boring and slightly unbelievable story. I was cleaning the kids’ bathtub and tuned the showerhead to clean another part of the wall and my shoulder popped. I didn’t fall. It wasn’t dramatic. It was just everyday. Still, it’s frustrating.
Now I can only type with my left hand. As a programmer, this as you might imagine, is challenging. Further, it means I won’t be working on any more stitching for a while. Nothing on paper. No onsies and booties for my pregnant friends and family. Sigh. Perhaps some good ideas will come out of this. We shall see.
